¿El proceso ctfmon.exe es un virus? – Cómo deshabilitarlo

• Handwriting recognition.

The original file can be found in C:WindowsSystem32. If you find any file or folder that is not in that location but has the same name; then it may be a virus or malware.

How to disable ctfmon.exe if it runs at startup?

Another common problem that Microsoft users face and which have reported certain problems is that ctfmon.exe runs at startup. 

To disable this element at startup, we advise you to do the following:

1. Press the “Windows” and “R” keys at the same time to open the window you want to launch. Then, you will have to type the following commands one by one to unregister the DLL files. 
2. Press the “Enter” key and write the commands shown below:

• Regsvr32.exe /u msimtf.dll.
• Regsvr32.exe /u msctf.dll.

1. Reboot the system immediately so that the commands run correctly.
